Left trigger + left stick on defense

Has anybody had any success using this on defense? Is this a way to shade the receiver? Thanks

I use it (to nice effect) in 2 ways.

1. If all of their WRs are on 1 side I'll slide the coverage to that side. I always do this when they call a Hail Mary.

2. When I wanna turn a cover 2 into a cover 3 I'll spread the coverage (this has the safeties shade towards the sidelines instead of towards the middle) and then I'll hot route a LB that was spying or blitzing to a deep zone in between the other deep zones.
