I tend to value ELU as well. I find that it is a large factor in generating broken tackles. I'll take a back with 90+ ELU over a 99 SPD guy personally.

ELU is big for me, with a speed back anyways. Ideally I like good speed/agi/acc, break tackle, ELU and juke/spin. With Power backs having obviously better STR, break tackle, trucking and decent juke/spin (if possible).

Break tackle seems to be more of a sim stat. I just don't see it having much gameplay effect. However, I agree that trucking and STR are also important. They're the equivalent of ELU for power backs.

Elu has nothing to do with a user controlled running back.

I beg to differ...It's one of the more important RB attributes. It's what makes players like DAT and Manziel so dynamic in the game. (Aside from their speed of course)

Speed
Acceleration
Agility
Break Tackle
Elusiveness
Trucking

are the ones I look at

If I had to pick 3 I would pick Speed, Elusiveness, and Trucking

I grade acceleration higher than speed actually. I'd rather have a guy with 90 accel and 80 speed than vice versa, all else being equal. The ability to explode through a hole or around a corner is more valuable to me more often than the ability to break away on a run.

Re: Most Important Attributes For RB's

I grade acceleration over speed in most cases also. I'd rather have a back who can burst through a hole fast rather than someone who takes a while to get to top speed. If you're looking for a power back, then you'd obviously grade break tackle and strength over things like elusiveness.
