Ask Coach "glitch" when using a custom playbook?

I don't know what I'm doing wrong, but whenever I create an offensive playbook, Ask Coach gets all screwy. It will barely use any of the playbook, and it will make the first page on ask coach run, pass, pass from left to right EVERY time.

Is there something wrong? I use ask coach to keep my playcalling realistic, but it doesn't quite work when I use a custom playbook.

I have this problem too. I run mainly a read option offense with limited passing game. It seems like the Ask Coach option gives me about 10-15 plays over and over.

Same thing here. That happened in 12 also to me. That's why I don't use my own playbook very often.

I haven't used 14's custom playbook yet, but from what I could see in 12 the ask coach simply called plays from the base playbook it orginated from. I imagine that within each default playbook there are playcall values for different situations, similar to what can be seen in Madden and actually edited. I noticed this when I put some flexbone in an ace-based playbook for a CPU team I wanted to watch play for a bit. The computer never called any of the flexbone forms or plays.

Wow, that actually makes sense! Is there some kind of workaround?

Call your own plays. I don't know if anything can be done for cpu teams.
