I think it would be interesting to see how it would come out if someone else did a bracket of their own choosing, in their own thread of course. I really don't mean to sound like a dick or anything. I just really would like to do this to completion.

Re: 64 Team Playoff

Wow.

I was down 41-14 at half. Had several turnovers, one really stupid INT early that really got the ****train in motion, and a fumble after that that put me behind the eight ball entirely. I did battle back, but I just couldn't stop Petty. He threw and ran all over us.

69-42 final. I know Wazzu isn't great on D, but Baylor is my pick to win so far. Seastrunk went out at half and they still killed me.

Re: 64 Team Playoff

Did you ever think about playing with one team till halftime and controlling the other team the 2nd half? I like to do that sometimes just seeing who the better team is.

That would be weird to me. lol. I mean, I think I get some pretty competitive games with the sliders I'm rolling so I have never really thought about it. I actually figured this game to be an upset (BU-WSU) because I am an air raid guy and Wazzu has some decent skill players and a good QB.

Re: 64 Team Playoff

(preface: I am a bit drunk, but I really wanted this one)

Okay. I did Texas Tech-Oregon.

Oregon suffers from the "I have an option QB" syndrome. But, they still played a very good game, and without a few really good breaks that I got would have won.

It was a very close game throughout. Mariota is an animal on the run. DAT is a freak too.

I took advantage of the lack of men in the box, and ran for a ton of yards.

I gave away a safety early after being up 10-0 that let Oregon climb back into it.

I think Tech should get decently deep. Will I be able to beat elite tier talent that runs more orthodox offenses? I have no idea, maybe not. I think 32 points is about right for Tech in a game with Oregon. IRL I think Oregon would probably score near 50-60 though.

Anyway, fun to play with my favorite team in a playoff like this. It is a blast doing this.

Again, I do take requests on what matchup I should play next. I'm thinking Fresno State-Houston may be the next one.

Re: 64 Team Playoff

Did Houston-Fresno. Derek Carr played terribly. I don't what the deal was, but he was missing wide open guys the entire first half. They got a little on track in the third, but is was already out of hand so I simmed from about the mid third to the end.

UH has some nice quick WRs and some decent backs. Probably going to raise CPU RDEF to 100.

Re: 64 Team Playoff

RBK 0 and CPU RDEF seemed to help a bit. I still ran pretty well, but it was a little less wide open, and I think I had my lowest YPC since I started this.

I played Rice-Miami. It was a gutty 20-10 win, but it solidified the idea that QBACC needs a bump. Another game with just a terrible CPU QB performance.

Charles Ross is a fun back to run with. He's got okay speed, but he's tough to bring down. The QB is decently quick as well.
