NCAA 08 or 10 for PS2. Midterms and finals, practice to get skill points and a kind of combine thing for offers.

Re: Best NCAA RTG ever?

Two cents, this year's RTG is fun but you absolutely must turn reaction time off. It's total cheese and there's no reason you should be able to slow down time and matrix your way into the endzone.

Example..

RTG as a QB with reaction time on default All-American sliders: undefeated, win states, 30+ touchdowns, less than 5 picks, play QB at basically any college your heart desires.

RTG as a QB with reaction time off default All-American sliders: losing in state champ game, 15-20 touchdowns, 10 or so picks, left to decide which 3 star prestige school you're going to play for.

The latter is way more fun and the pay off is huge if you can even get your team to a bowl game. Sometimes, winning the National title as a redshirt freshmen isn't all it's cracked up to be. Jameis Winston is bound to be a bit bored next year, whether he wants to be or not because of "Alexander the Great" sydrome.. when you've accomplished everything so quick, you're just biding time to get into the pros.. and college level isn't as special as it was at first.

Re: Best NCAA RTG ever?

Is there still the issue of making a RTG QB and they go into college with like a 40 THP rating?

Never played 06 but 08 was awesome. That might have been the first year where as a QB who was out of the pocket you could control where a receiver would run. That was sweet. 08 also has a very good RTG.

Re: Best NCAA RTG ever?

Thanks for all the suggestions guys. After much consideration I bought '06. Who is on the cover btw? I don't watch college so I don't know the history.

Desmond Howard, that was the year they introduced Impact Players and Race for the Heisman, which turned into RTG.
