Simulated Defense is too good

I just started a dynasty as the OC for Akron. One thing I noticed is that the simulated defense seems way too good. For example, week 1 they surrendered just 24 points to UCF (7 of those from a pick 6 I threw). Week 2 the FCS school was being blanketed until 2nd stringers were put in (And Akron is only 2 OVR points better than the FCS team I played). Is there any way to make the simulated defense worse? Will any sliders effect super sim?

Don't supersim the defense, watch it play instead.

Re: Simulated Defense is too good

How!? Every time as an OC my defense gives up like 40 points a game. And that's with better teams than Akron. Only thing I can think of that seems to kind of stop their offense is if you go with conservative playing style.

Ride it out and see once you start playing better teams. Sometimes sim D can be shutdown and other times it cannot stop a nose bleed.

Re: Simulated Defense is too good

Actually after rereading I can understand. UCF doesn't really have a good team with the in game rosters and FCS teams almost never score. So I agree with Canes

Please help Sig l

I've noticed that simming sometimes cheats in my favor. For instance, I got the ball on 3rd down, after a 15 year penalty against me. The offense didn't fumble or throw an interception. The CPU just gave me the possession.

In my experience the defence played better when I played with them. When I would simulate the defensive plays, they would get burnt through the air. The offense would average 10-20 yards a pass play.It would be ridiculous sometimes.

I've noticed that the sim D is way better at the non-BCS conference level. When I was at UMass and Tulsa, my sim D was way better than it was at Rutgers. I would move up ASAP.
