Does "Big Hit" really work?

Im not saying use it on all downs but maybe on passing situation so if someone gets hit across the middle by a LB or S it jars the ball loose....Does anybody use thia strategy or play with "Big Hit" on aggressive

I never use it. I just want the guy with the ball to be tackled.

I use it. It is the only way I get fumbles....

Do you leave it on all game? I want to play a cover 2 style defense and make them pay on catches

With my 4th year San Jose team if I have it on the CPU breaks all kind of tackles. I normally put that on conservative and the strip ball on aggressive.

Strictly anecdotal evidence, but I do feel like I see my guys break up more catches by CPU WRs when I leave Big Hit on (or use the Hit Stick to make tackles myself). If my defenders hit the WR just as or after he touches the ball on a passing play, I feel like the ball gets jarred loose and becomes an incomplete pass more often than if I turn Big Hit off, which results in more catches but reduced YAC.

That's all I want is the ball jarred loose more.... since I play alot of Cover 2 just making the tackle over the middle ain't enough..... I try to play a bend but don't break and hopefully it can get me some fumbles too
