Dumb question please help

I have a roster set loaded, all my sliders set, began a dynsasty, and when I start the existing coach I chose (Kevin Sumlin) had way lower recruiting skills than in the roster I have and loaded. I have done other dynasties in the past on NCAA 14, so not sure what I missed.

When you start a dynasty you are given the option to start all coaches at default (way it is on your roster file), or skill points at any number from 0-max points. Before you advance look around at all the pages where you set up your dynasty as I can't remember where that option is.
