Team To start Dynasty with?

I want to start a Dynasty as a OC or HC, havent decided yet. I want them to be a decent team. (Ex. Tennesee, Rutgers, Colorado.) I don't want to be a powerhouse. (Ex. Alabama, or Texas.) I wouldn't mind starting as a terrible school, but I want a team that runs the spread. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Akron
Arizona
Arizona State
Auburn
Ball State
Baylor
Buffalo
Duke
Florida Atlantic
Fresno State
Iowa State
Louisiana Tech
Marshall
Memphis
Mississippi State
Missouri
North Carolina State
New Mexico State
North Carolina
Northern Illinois
Northwestern
Notre Dame
Ohio State
Ole Miss
Oregon
Rice
South Alabama
Texas Christian University
Tennessee
Texas
Toledo
Tulsa
UCLA
UL Lafayette
UL Monrore
University of Massachusetts
UNLV
Utah
Utah State
Wake Forest
Wyoming

Those schools have Spread playbook. Since you prefer run offense, UNLV
and New Mexico might be good start as OC. Latter is more challenge. Naturally, you'd want
championship game then MWC, SEC, MAC, Big 10, ACC, or CUSA team will be your pick unless you
decide to go with realignment during beginning of Dynasty Mode.

As for those references, you can check out both links.

Re: Team To start Dynasty with?

I've always thought about running with Minnesota or Washington. Both need some serious help and are in big conferences.

Washington is a powerhouse in this game.

Maybe you meant Washington State.

Err.. both don't use Spread playbook. Despite Indiana uses Air Raid PB, they have a lot of spread formations and also do have many option plays.

I agree with Michigan about UW even though WSU uses Air Raid playbook and is pure passing team. If you want Big 5 conference team, Wake Forest, Iowa State, and Memphis are better choice.

I did mean Washington State. Sorry about that. The OP also never said anything about running the football. I interpreted his post as he wants to "run a certain style" rather than "running the ball out of the spread". Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Duke is pretty fun. I'm a big fan of the wing formations (with a TE/FB/H-back in the backfield) and Duke has pretty much all of the shotgun versions. Nice balance of run and pass, Boone is a good QB, and Jamison Crowder is a very good receiver. They definitely fall into the good but still a challenge category and aren't a traditional powerhouse.

but I want a team that runs the spread

He implied that he wants spread playbook even though he did mention his teams suggestion that made me to think he wanted run first.
