NCAA copying gamebreaker?

A while ago I posted on a wishlist that ea should look to gameday and gamebreaker for some new animations, particularly hitting and catching.Looking at early footage of the big hit feature and comparing them to a demo of ncaa gamebreaker, they are really close in similarity, except that for some reason gamebreaker hits still look more painful.I am not attacking ea by any means, since I suggested something similar to begin with.I was just wondering if anyone who bothered to play the gamebreaker demo or has the game itself noticed this?

i could pretty much care less if its true or not true...
all gaming industry companies rip ideas from one
another to improve their games a bit better but the
foundation work of their games come from their own minds..

Like I said,it wasn't a complaint, especially since I tought it would be a good idea to copy this particular feature in the 1st place.God is in the details people ,make sure you understand the context of a post before you get defensive and start engaging in meaningless back and forth posting

Re: NCAA copying gamebreaker?

I'm not sure that adding animations that represent real-life football is copying anyone, seems like a natural evolution in the development cycle of a game to me. Did Half-life copy Quake by using 3D monster models instead of sprites, or was it a natural evolution from PCs becoming powerful enough to do that and designers wanting better graphics?

I think that sports games really don't copy each other, but they do strive toward representing the real-life game better with each new iteration. Better animations is a part of that.
