Developer Interview #1 at Gamespot

http://www.gamespot.com/ps2/sports/n...005/media.html

No new info hear, just some strange comments -

The bearded developer actually refers to the matchup stick as "the first real strategy" that NCAA will have. Seems a bit odd for the guy to talk like that.

Hey, this is football - it's all about strategy! The new matchup stick doesn't change that.

What do you mean by complete? The FREE basic membership is all you need to see the video via streaming.

I like it... if you call the hot route and the wr doesn't get it he runs a different route and the qb throws it to the wrong spot! Also inseason player progression and rewards for playing your seniors man I can't wait!

Honestly I think in-season progression is a mistake. The only progression I would think would happen realistically is awareness. Anything else is unrealistic. A player improves physically during offseason training. I know when i played we trained in the offseason and got stronger then. During the season we would lift weights but to only keep us at the level we where at instead of losing a little bit. I hope they keep it to a minimum. I better not see a guys speed increase at all or we will be playing Tecmo bowl.

Good point but what if say your WR has a minor leg injury his speed should decrease but when gets health he should regain...

I still think in season progressions is a "good" thing. College players are still young guys and they can improve in leaps and bounds all year long, depending on the player.
