NCAA on HDTV

I just have a few questions about setting NCAA up on HD. It seems pretty straight forward and I'm pretty sure mine is set up right, but how can you really tell? I set it in the XBox Console and I have the correct connections but it still doesn't seem all the spectacular to me. Am I missing something or is there a way to check it?

I have a 70" Sony XBR Grand Wega (KDF-70XBR950) Its great having the giant screen and the game looks "ok". I just want to make sure I have it set up correctly before '05 comes out! I've been playing alot of '04 again lately and on the 70" with my surround sound its a Great Gaming Experience. I just want to make sure I'm getting everything I can out of it.

Make sure the 720p and 480p options are turned on in your XBox settings menu. Although neither of them are true HDTV, that is what most game producers tend to sell the "HDTV" line in regards to their games.

How is 720p not 'true' HDTV? It's the resolution that ESPN-HD broadcasts at, and is one of the two major resolutions that HDTVs are sold in.

NCAA 04 was not made in HD. It only came in 480p.

Oh, I didn't realize that. No wonder it doesnt look any different. DOH! Hope '05 is but either way it wont change make a difference on my opinion of the game. It would just be a nice added touch.

actually it should look different...480p is 480 progressive which is much clearer then your standard 480i or 480 interlaced.
