Just looking at the new IGN videos, and it looks as if the playbooks are vastly similar. To the point that I don't see a lot of new plays either running or passing.

I wish they would expand the playbooks to get more variety and more strategy in the game.

I also haven't read too much on new plays. It's a bit of a concern and with last year's NCAA there were some plays that just didn't work. And others weren't money but you have to use the more often because they could trip up the AI.

Wow...I didn't realize we could make our own plays...I thought it was just custom playbooks. How will the play design program be ? Set patterns or just draw whatever ?

man, i didnt know we could make our own, but can we take plays from other playbooks to make a user playbook? I really never fell in love with any one book last year.

Spin, now that would be great. Also do you have to make your playbook from scratch or you can add and delete plays from a certain playbook. like if I was playing with baylors can I make 5 plays and delete 5 others and just add them in?>

I don't think you will be able to use custom plays online. At least you couldn't in past years of Madden.
