I work with the cousin of Georgia Tech S James Butler and they are promoting him for the Heisman!! I know Mel Kiper had him on the list of 2005 Top 10 NFL prospects, but Heisman at safety???

hey they can promote him if tey wnat. there goal is probably for him just to get some more publicity. or maybe just get him in as a finalist. i would like to see the best player win the heimen instead of offensive mvp but it will always be an offensive player even though Butler is good enough to win the heismen.

people seem to forget how bad a team like Oklahoma was a couple of years before Stoops and the talent arrived. They sucked big time. I'm not saying that we are the next Oklahoma, but to think that we cannot turn it around is ridiculous. Actually, I am shocked that comments like delusional fans is coming from a Maryland fan, who's football team suffered futility for years!!!! Don't forget where yall came from.....THE BOTTOM!!!

The most recent sooners national championship team was filled mostly with kids that were recruited by John Blake. It was coaching at a very high level that put them over the top. Ironically OU has done less with more talent--much like their frien.....errrr......rivals just south of the red river.

I love the Heels, I want to see them do well, but I must admit, I'm surprised at some of my brethren predicting a winning season this year. If we go 6-6, I'll be the among the happiest of fans, but I can't see it. I see more of a 3-8 finish, Bunting loses his job and we bring in Spurrier.

Re: UNC on NCAA 2005

I honestly believe that 4 wins or more saves his job for another year. I look at it like this....Mack Brown's first two seasons were 1-10. The third year we went bowling at 6-6, 7-5, or somehting like that. He got the chance to get his guys in and put his stamp on the program. This is Bunting's 4th year. We all know what he did his first year given who was on that team. When evaluating him, I would really count that year. This third year is critical. He has all his players, a good coaching staff. It's time!!!!

You think Spurrier is going to UNC. If Florida goes 8-5 again, and we fire Zook (that would be too good) you think spurrier will choose UNC over his alma mater and the college with the better team?

If we pay him enough money, plus we have the qb, and the wrs needed in the fun'n'gun offense.
