Excellerated Clock....next year maybe?

I guess its safe to say its not in this year. Hopefully next year. I think it would be great to have, just like Madden. That way we can get realistic stats without having to play such long games.

I know some people dont mind but I just cant seem to stay motivated when playing 10+ minute quarters. Just drags...

It would still take around the same amount of time to play the games with the acc clock. You still have to do X plays to get realistic stats. Speeding up the clock is not going to change that.

But I agree, the accelerated clock feature would still be nice.

You guys actually want an accelerated clock for the college game? Isn't the play clock short enough in this game, I certainly don't need it accelerated, and the CPU doesn't generally snap the ball until there's a few seconds left on the clock anyway.

The college play clock is only 25 seconds, correct? Because of that, I think the accelerated clock would be useless, since in Madden it ticks the play clock town to 20 seconds when you go to the line.

However, doesn't the college play clock start once the ball is spotted? If they could just run 20 seconds off the game clock before the play clock started, then it would be ok to use the accelerated clock, otherwise it would be pretty much useless.

I agree I wouldnt use it in NCAA, as the play clock is already 25 seconds.

I for one, dont like the idea of an accelerated clock. I wouldnt like it during crunch time. Accurate stats are about # of plays run. Just find a qtr length that gives you accurate stats. For me its either 8 or 9 min. and I have no porblem with that since your whole season is 14 games AT MOST.

Future I agree...when you say "crunch time" do you mean, like with a few minutes left in the game? if so,in Madden the acc clock is turned off then.
