Arkansas

Soph WR Chris Baker
Senior WR Steven Harris
Soph WR David Thompson
SR TB Decori Birmingham
True FR HB Peyton Hillis
Kick Return Soph Cedric Washington
OL Zach Tubbs, Tony Ugoh, Kyle Roper
DL Jeremy Harrell, Keith Jackson (sophs)

Some newcomers who will help in the secondary: Darius Vinnett & Randy Kelly (Juco), Cedric Logan & Rick Culbert (HS).

Of course there's SR QB Matt Jones, who gets no respect nationally, but his size (6-6, 220), speed (4.4) and play-making abilities are amazing.

Re: Freshman and Unknown Stars

I second that, Razorbacker.

Matt Jones has never gotten his due with regards to his speed and elusiveness.

He looked pretty darn impressive against Texas last year.

Re: Freshman and Unknown Stars

Thanks guys.

The thing was he was playing with a pulled groin against Texas, too. He's certainly not your conventional QB, but he just has a knack for making big plays.

I'll end the Matt Jones horn tooting session. I see too many other's trying to tout players who really aren't that great.

I will say this: If you get a chance to watch Arkansas this year, check em out. Matt will play QB, WR, and he will return punts. It's pretty wild watching a guy that tall, shake LB's and pull away from DBs.
