UCONN fans.....

Are there any UConn fans out there?

I'm really anticipating seeing how good EA is going to make the Huskies this year after their surprisingly impressive season last year. They had several solid wins and SHOULD have beaten NC State on the road.

9-3 overall without Terry Caulley for most of the season. Hopefully he can come back to full strength after the knee surgery. Plus Orlovsky had a GREAT season and was among the nation's top for almost every passing statistic.

With the absense of Va Tech and Miami from the Big East already, and Pitt losing Fitzgerald and their QB, I think that UConn has a legitimate shot at winning the Big East this year and can sneak into a bowl game and finish the season in the lower part of the Top 25 (like 23rd, 24th, 25th).

The only game on there '04 schedule that they may not have a shot of winning is @ G-Tech. I guess they want revenge from the bball season.

Anyway, I'm just curious if anyone else going to use the Huskies in NCAA Football or if anyone knows any good info for them yet such as their ratings or preseason rankings.

I love your enthusiasm, but winning the Big East is a bit too optimistic.

Here's my conservative first UConn/Big East season:

1.) WVU
2.) BC
3.) Pitt
4.) Syracuse
5.) UConn
6.) Rutgers
7.) Temple

I hope you're more right than I am and we have another great season.

I started my dynasty with UConn last year, Dan Orlovsky and Caulley were absolute beasts for me. I think I went an identical 9-3 my first season with them, too. I just may use them again in 2005.

Hey, the Big East is a logical goal. I think they will finish 3rd or 4th. But we should be in a bowl game this year!
