Did they add any new hot routes in the game such as the slant/post? I didnt read anything about it and they left it out last year.

Yes...they added the slant I believe...not sure what else.

I love how EA comes up with these great new features does anyone have any confrimation on the new hoy routes, i wonder how there going to work.

Yes, slant routes have been added. I've wanted this forever. It is confirmed from the preview at Gamespot.

"Offensively, some additions have been made to the audible system. You will now be able to call slant route audibles, as well as flip running plays without having to flip your receivers around as well."

Don't laugh at hot routes, because if used correctly (ie, not abusing them in online games), it adds a ton to the gameplay in my opinion.

I love using hot routes and slant routes are going to be great, but the Hoy routes are going to add a ton of realism into this game I expected EA to unleash this new feature untill at least NCAA 2006.

Flipping running plays was the main use of playmaker in Madden 2004 for me. I'm glad we can audible to do that without shifting every player.
