man i really am not impressed this year with the videos. The qb has a good 8-12 seconds to get the ball off, and the turning animations just look goofy. Ive never seen a runner lean like that.

Now I see the slowdown everyone is talking about, including staff members from E3.

... getting worried.

I want steve to swoop in like an angel from heaven with his beta and relieve us from all this pain. Chances are it will all be ok and hell say that it plays better than ever.

I thought it looked preety good and I don't think that the QB's had too much time. In real life 90% the QB has 4-5 seconds to throw and that looked about right on the vids.

no man look closely, if they hadnt thrown the ball and continued to wait, they would of had at least 9 seconds. In every video ive seen in ncaa, it looks like if the player wanted to, he could just roll out and pick up 8 yards with ease.

Those videos looked good. I can't wait for this game. And it looks like they finally put the Virginia Tech logo in the ACC too.

I for one am just thrilled that the uniform discoloration issue from years past has been fixed. Those bright unis pissed me off. Did anyone else notice that the player faces in the PS2 videos were the same as last years in all cases, or that 'bama's helmets were oddly pale in the PS2 videos ?

I'm just glad they added some sweet new tackle animations, although that undercut tackle where the defender ends up on the bottom showed up ALOT.

On the topic of QB's having too much time...

I'd bet that the videos were made with default sliders on Varsity level. Go play a series real quick of 2004 with those settings and see how much time you have to pass. I bet its pretty much the same.

However, when the QB throws the ball, it looks like it moves more slowly, even on bullet passes.
