Interview Transcript
Reporter: Today I'm interviewing quarterback Dave Jennings, one of LSU's newest recruits. Great to have you on the show.
Dave Jennings: Thanks.
R: So, Dave, what were the variables that ultimately led you to LSU?
DJ: It was really important to me to find a coach that I gelled with, and I feel like Coach Miles is that guy. Plus, this is LSU we're talking about. This is one of the most prestigious colleges in the whole country. I can't wait to get out on the field and hear 102,000 people cheering for us.
R: What are your plans for next season?
MJ: Coach told me that I should take a year to adjust to the college style of play about on some more muscle before I get any playing time. Plus we've got a valuable playmaker or two in front of me. I'll wait for my time to shine.
R: So you're redshirting?
DJ: As of right now, yes.
R: What do you feel that you'll bring to the team in a couple years when you step onto the field?
DJ: I feel that I am a true dual threat, I can pass and I'm not afraid to get out of the pocket and run the ball. The defense can't predict what I'll do.
