What steps do I need to take to save a rivalry trophy once I win the game in Dynasty mode? I know this seems like a silly questions, but I seem to remember that there's one more step than a regular saved game.

I believe it will prompt you if you want to save trophies at the end of each dynasty season. It is possible to max out though, then it will ask you if you want to delete your oldest trophy to make room for the newer one. It takes many years to get to that point in a dynasty though.

This doesn't apply to rivalry trophies.

OP the only thing you need to do is to save your profile, but some of them don't seem to work. I've got some trophies (IE. Little brown jug) but others (like some from my UNC dynasty) won't stick, no matter how many times I've won the rivalry game.

I figured it out. After saving the dynasty game, hit L3 (Save) & then Quick Save / Profile.

Yeah, that's what I told you to do, but keep in mind that not all rivalry trophies will save.
