Reserving it?

Hey, I was just wondering who here reserved the game and if you recommend I do so. I thought about doing this, but last year I reserved it at Gamestop, but they ended up getting a day later than EBX. Let me know what you think.

Re: Reserving it?

it depends on where you live honestly. the market here in ABQ isnt very much into sports video games so for me to get it would be easy, at any store i could find that had it the first day.

for others, its soldout everywhere.

just evaulate your market and decide. i know gamestop around here get like 4 copies and im always there the release night with no troubles of picking it up.

Re: Reserving it?

I reserved it at two EBs, One in my hometown Pottstown, and another about 20 minutes from here at King Of Prussia Mall KOP's EBX usually gets it at ship date because they drive to the one EB Warehouse in West Chester so i usually go there to get it on ship date..

Re: Reserving it?

when you reserve a game, don't you put 5 dollars towards the main purchase?

what if another store gets it like 5 hours before another? Can you go get the 5 dollar deposit back?

thats my only worry. I guess its a risk.. Guranteed game vs. Getting the game 3 hours earlier.

Re: Reserving it?

If you live in a city, I wouldnt reserve it. You most likely will find that just calling around, you will get it quicker. I live in Cincinnati, and I used to reserve it but I called around and found it elsewhere. You can get your $5 back, but its a waste of time.
