I don't think it's worth it. You can find out ratings on your own; besides, most everyone will tweak rosters and ratings anyway. If you played football, any strategy guide is NOT worth it. I bought the VGsports guide last year and was supremely disappointed. It gave such insightful tips as "When running inside, hit the hurdle and speed burst buttons." Well, thank you for that. About the only thing that was useful in my opinion was it had the listing of all the formations in each playbook; however, Hellisan over at MM posts that every year so it really wasn't very useful.

I would recommend not getting any strategy guide, but maybe that's just me.

Re: Strategy Guide?? Worth Buying?

It's actually beneficial in that it lists what plays are in each teams playbook. So it's easier to pick a good playbook instead of trial and error with other team's playbooks.
