What year is the best NCAA football game?

I think 2011 for ps2 was best, they added small things from 08 on but everything counts. My sliders keep the game interesting, I give the cpu a lot of help with them. I have it on hiseman but I may try an all-american set to limit the rocket catches on both sides..

NCAA 11, 14 and 06 are my favorites.

NCAA 11 IMO was the best playing NCAA game on 360 for Human vs CPU gameplay.

Even on Varsity level that game with tweaked sliders produced some awesome animations and results.

I loved the field getting torn up and dirty uniforms

NCAA 14 is terrific for CPU vs CPU Gameplay and probably has the best graphics that series ever produced.

NCAA 06 for it's time was the GOAT of all NCAA games the best ever hands down.

Unlike most in this thread I wasn't a fan of NCAA 12 and 13 was just a slight upgrade over 12.

If I recall, the knock against '13 is that there is a DB glitch where way to frequently a DB will ignore a WR on a fly route and leave him WIDE OPEN for an easy TD.

I also recall the marketing angle that year was that you could take a Heisman great from the past and put him on a different team.....which I viewed as kind of bizarre.

I still own NCAA 06 and love it, but I can't consider it the tops when it is 100x easier to complete a hail mary than a slant.

14 for me.

That's what sliders are for. Besides, the CPU is just as deadly with it as we are. I still have a hard time stopping it.

These threads always make me dream of being able to go back to '03 and cherry pick the best elements from each iteration into the ultimate NCAA game. NCAA has always been a case of EA Giveth and EA Taketh away.

I have been wanting to go back and play 03 and 04 more. Never gave either enough time to fully evaluate. If they had deeper dynasty modes then I would play them more.
