Your Entertainment Setup for NCAA \'05?

What size/brand of tv do you have... and what kind of sound... afterall if you can't hear your walls shaking you aren't enjoying college football to its fullest.

I have a modest 24inch Phillips flat screen tv with HDTV ready Monster Component Cables with a 450 watt dolby digital surround sound system set up..

I wish i could go to my uncles house and play on his new 51 inch widescreen HDTV (its beautiful).

When the parents aren't around then I'll have a 52" Sony Wega with component cables. I'll find a way to hook it up to the surround sound as well.

When the parents are home, then it's a 26" Sony upstairs.

Re: Your Entertainment Setup for NCAA \'05?

Last year I bought a 36 inch RCA CRT TV. It's the "XBOX Ready" TV, even though I use PS2. I used to use the component cables but the S-Video is what I'm using now as I needed to free up space for my DVD component cables and I don't yet have a reciever with video.

I use an 6 year old Kenwood amp. I believe it's 200 Watts, and I use some Panasonic floor speakers with 10 inch woofers. I'm getting a sub in a few weeks.

As it is right now the system sounds pretty good. I'm moving into a better apartment that will better allow me to set up a surround system.

In retrospect, I should've saved a few hundred more dollars and bought a nice HD ready projection TV, but I'm satisified with my setup. The 36 inch is a lot bigger than my old tv (19 inches )
