You're the man, thank you. Obviously no way to get it so you don't have to mod each season for the playoffs? Gotta do it after conference championships right?

Yep, you have to do it every year, and also at conference championship week.

can't get it to save. incredibly frustrating. Once it worked, but a few bowl games were mixed up so i went back to try and fix it and now it won't save. it saves on the computer, i'll re open the file in ea db editor and it'll show all the changes i've made, but when i plug the USB back into the xbox the original files remain.

Make sure you are right clicking on your dynasty in Modio 5.3 and selecting Add File, and then replacing your old file.

Also do you have to use horizons for this?
I am having the same issues.

I am using a MAC and PS3, trying to modify a dynasty file for a 4 team playoff.

I used Bruteforce to decrypt the files. It created a ~files_decrypted_by_pfdtool.txt file.

I renamed the USR-DATA to USR-DATA.mc02.

For the EA DB Editor, I used the PocketScout config.

When I try to open the USR-DATA.mc02, I get the following error:

Error - this is not a DB or MC02 file!

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Same, minus the MAC part.

Re: EA DB Editor error

If I find an answer, I will post something. I am following some dude on youtube that made it work with Windows.

Re: EA DB Editor error

Another weird thing is that when I try to open a file from EA DB Editor, the window pops up to choose the file and the "Files of Type" box has *.MC02. Only the USR-DATA.MC02 is available to choose in the window, which tells my that the mac and the EA DB Editor recognize this file as a .MC02 file for opening. But when I choose the USR-DATA.MC02 to open, the error "Error - this is not a .DB or .MC02 file!" appears.

I am guessing the error message is incorrect and there is another issue happening.
