Further backs up my point Dual Shock Ps2 > xbox controller

So glad I ordered for ps2.

Exactly man. It's what I was saying in ALL of the xbox vs ps2 threads. PS2 has better/responsive control for EA games because they program on ps2 and port to xbox. With that being said I've got the game ordered on ps2 and xbox both but will no doubt play ps2 far more cuz of the superior control.

Please see Highs #1.

Superior control trumps moderately better graphics everytime.

Re: OXM Review

I'm getting the xbox version because -
+ Better Graphics
+ Crisper Sound
+ XBOX Live! (sorry, but it kills PS2's service)
+ Hard drive. Meaning I can store as many replays, franchises, profiles and whatever as I please.

From the replies in this thread I take it, the review was for Xbox correct? If so then this leaves a question mark...

Simulating off-season takes forever

Doesnt seem like it took long at all last year to sim.

I owned both versions last year and it was much faster simming on the xbox.

The xbox version was also much prettier - but I still love the ps2 version for the reason stated many times, the controller.

Yeah I figured Xbox simmed seasons a lot faster...thats why the comment confused me if this was an Xbox review.

I don't think that's true with NCAA at all. 2004's online component was top notch, from lobbies, to EA Messenger, and voice chat that didn't sound like it was coming from a tin can. I haven't seen an XBL game do it any better.

Of course, your other points are entirely valid.

I think they are refering to the lag which was minimal in NCAA and all EA games, but not as good as xbl.

Re: OXM Review

NCAA and EA are both P2P, so i don't see how xbox live gives you a decided advantage in the lag department?

Re: OXM Review

I dont know how that works, maybe because XBL is no dial up, while PS2 you can use dial up.
