What Do I Do NOW??

Here is my story.
2 weeks ago i traded in my junked ps2 that had several disc read errors. I then got a brand new xbox with a couple of games. After 12 days i received my first error that read something like "please check your disc because it might be durty/damaged". I was like ok maybe this disc is dirty but NO, I then put in my new halo game and i cant play any game anymore. Is it just me with the hole disc read error? I am scared with less than a week to my favorite game being released, What should i do? People please help me out!!!

If you only bought it 2 weeks ago and its brand new...take it back? Get another one.
