how would playoff teams be determined?

dont know if this was ever discussed, but if a new game were to come out with the playoffs involved, how do you think the computer would differentiate and decide who the top 4 teams were? would it simply choose the top 4 teams in the country, kind of like the BCS rankings? or would there be enough intelligence to look at strength of schedule, top 25 teams beaten, opponents win/loss records, etc? just a thought.

EA would have repackaged is current ranking sydtem as committee rankings.

Change "BCS Rankings" to "Playoff Committee Rankings" and remove formulas/numbers.

Yeah, they would do this. May not be the most fun, but its the easiest... and thats how they roll now.

those two things shouldn't be any different in the first place
