scouting

What exactly does it do? In the last one, whenever you tried to recruit someone it kinda scoutedthem by changin their stats...is this the same thing?

BTW, anyone else think its gonna be tougher to recruit now with so little recruiting points?

Re: scouting

one of 2 things as i see it.

1) Scouting is a cheap way to verify a players stats on the report.

2) It allows you to determine what recruiting pitch to use on the recruit when you recruit him.

Just guesses though.

Re: scouting

ok, saw posted elsewhere, scouting allows you to check things like composure, grades, and potential cheaply.

I think recruiting will balance out since there won't be so many Blue Chips. That way you shouldn't have to spend as much

Re: scouting

well you can probably go out law program and put all your points into recruiting and developement and allow your players to be thugs on campus.

Re: scouting

wonder how many points you'll be expected to give to a recruit, like in the last one you could just pick all the boxes or a few, but will there be an indication of how many to put out?

Re: scouting

well according to others it depends on on location and such. All I know is that others are saying you can't send everybody to a recruit like last year.

Sounds like recuiting will be tougher this year which is great. On the screens I have seen, most blue chippers I saw a school get was 3. All good news to me.
