Yes, you can use it to setup a new account.
No, you have to use your credit card like always.
Before the two monts is over all you have to do is cancel & you will not be charged, I've done it plenty of times before

Well if you've never had XBOX live before and want to use the free two-month subscription on the game, what other equipment do you need to make it work? Also, how much is it per month after the 2 months an is it cheaper to just get the starter kit and 12 month subscription? Thanks for your help.

I didn't know that. If I end up getting an Xbox and want Live, I think I will go with the new starter kit that includes Crimson Skies (loved playing the store demo), a full year of service, and headset for $69.99

XBOX Is it worth getting, for ESPN that for sure, but yes i think its worth it for NCAA.

There are other great games for XBox Live, such as "Return To Castle Wolfestein", "Rainbow 6 Three" and the upcoming Halo 2.

They haven't done that since Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow, don't know if they'll do it again but for now they stopped.
