I can't seem to change my controller configuration, usually there's an option to change the controller settings to madden, but for some reason it won't let me do it this year. Anyone having this issue?

It's not LIVE that's the problem. This pretty much shows why MS fought for so long to keep control and have games on their servers. EA"s server have always been the bottom of the barel IMO.(Mostly PC experience with that statement)

I'm running off of a new Green Xbox that uses the samsung drive... I'm still getting the slowdown. If half us are and the other half aren't then maybe it's defective discs. EA's had the problem with the NCAA game for the PS2 every year, what would make this any different?

Then again some of us might notice the framerate issue while others don't. I notice a lot of times people that own just one console don't notice framerate issues as much - I'm not saying all of them miss it - So who knows.

Ive gotten alot of slowdown on my Xbox version as well.

I have slowdown issues on XBOX also.

However, I played parts of 3 games-2 of them in outdoor stadiums and the other in a dome- and i didn't have the slowdown when i was playing in a dome.

Is the slowdown worse than last year? Last year the game would slowdown at the goalline and during cut-scenes. That wasn't that big of a problem though.

For some of us, yes the slowdown is worse... it's during most every play. I'm going to try something out here in a minute. Someone said they didn't get any slowdown playing in a Dome and some said they didn't have much playing in smaller stadiums. I'm going to see if that's got something to do with it.

I've been playing with Ohio State and their horseshoe kindgom is huge. I'm going to try and Division 1AA school and some smaller colleges. I'll let you guys know what I find.

Go into practice mode... there's no slowdown. Go into a game, lots.

hmm, well if it is a slow down in the stadium then that would sound like its overloading the processor not a disc read thing??
