man this game is so sweet
i was recruiting a two star athlete, 6'4", 228 with 4.44 speed.
i thought i found a project wr/te because he also had a good vertical and great hands.
well after i had him i went to change positions and he was a 68 OVR athlete
he had great tackling(84) and for some reason 82thp and 76 tha (i think..)
well anyways, i ended up changing him into a pass rushing RE at a 84 OVR as a freshman
that's frickin awesome!!!!

I also took a FR MLB I picked up and 74 OVR, and moved him to RE, now a 90 OVR as a FR.



To bad Im going to start over when I get the roster file.

Are there actually such things as diamonds in the rough now? As in, can you get a freshman with four or five star ratings as a two or three star player? Last year I didn't see much of that at all.

I don't know if i like how high those ratings are for true freshman....That's kinda ridiculous for them to be rated that high

the problem is that EA does not have a rating for "technique" at the DL position. These kids are strong and fast, and therefore automatically translate into great DEs. In reality, they would have the potential to be great DEs, but they would get manhandled at first until they learned proper technique for the position, IMO.

Every recruit now has a "Potential" Rating so who knows. I ran through recruiting 3 times last night so I wouldn't mess up my real dynasty.
