How Do You Explain Your Teambuilder Uniforms

We all know that the team builder uniforms look different than the Nike, Adidas, and Under Armour uni's in the game. They have a certain shine to them and a different texture.

I'm wondering if you guys do anything to "explain" the difference. For me, I usually make up a story line that they are provided by a different company. I.E. Reebok, Champion, Russel Athletic... basically anything that explains why they differ from the norm.

On a side note, I like that they have the glossy/shiny finish like uniforms used to in the 90's.

So what do you guys do? Do you "explain it" or just ignore it?

I've created two teams that are in my dynasty, one that I'm using and one that, depending on certain situations, I may one day take over. They are North Texas, with a home white helmet and gray facemask with the eagle logo... this, on the helmet:

The other team is Washington State with the proper gray helmet and their white helmet. No crimson helmet. Both teams have their in-game uniforms.
