Re: Anyone want to be apart of my playoff committee?

What was the teams record for team E's second loss? Going 5-0 in the top 25 is exceptional and as jellio stated is of more importance to him which I agree with to a degree, but at the same time a loss to a 7-5 team is a free one but the second loss imo trumps that 5-0 top 25 record unless the 2nd team was in the 9+ win range.

This is the way to go!

Though I am a big fan of quantitative info, and am not a huge fan of this information approach. At a minimum, I would want to see the combined opponent win-loss for each team (available in the "schedules" menu), and the average ranking of each conference (available by clicking on conference prestige in the "my school" section of recruiting). I feel like this adds a lot more color to strength of schedule than just Top-25 record.

Re: Anyone want to be apart of my playoff committee?

Love this thread but we need some more info or at least I do between E and D. Without knowing whom that second loss was to that wasn't in the top 25 it makes it impossible to judge all the variables. Losing a game to a 7-5 team isn't the worst but if the second loss is to a team that only has 8 wins or less they can't be a so called "elite" team. Team d on the other hand is a mystery to me without a conference and what teams they played but sure looks like they handled there business without the horrible upset. Ultimately without seeing the schedule and results of both E and D the book is based off of the vague cover.
