Can you change the playbook for an AI team?

I created some "classic" playbooks for AI teams to use in my dynasty, but they won't use them in games. I changed the playbook for both the team's head coach and OC, but they still use the default team playbooks during the games. Does anyone know how to change this?

Use 2 controllers, 1 for each team.
Select the pbs for each team.
Start the game
Prior to kickoff, move the CPU team's controller to the middle so the CPU controls them.

Thanks for the help, is there any way to do it if you are lame like me and have only 1 controller?

It's just weird because I've also tried setting the right playbook for the team, hitting the B button to go back, setting up my team, but then going back to the AI team, and it still says they are using the custom playbook, but when the game starts they don't.

I guess I'll just have to live with it. Or buy another controller.

Only if you don't use a custom ph for your team. If so, then you start the game as the CPU to lock in their on, then switch to your team.

If you're in a dynasty edit the coach for that team. That's what I do to all my coordinators, I give them my offense and defense that way if I see them down the road they'll have my playbook which is near because they were like under me! I don't switch it if it's an established guy like a Lane Kiffin for example at Bama, but instead of switching it maybe you could just expand on their own playbook to add some of your stuff in.

If your PBs are custom PBs and you don't do what I said to do in post #2, then if you play against that team, they won't have your PB and will revert to default PBs instead.

What you said to do is what the OP was already doing, but it won't work.
