Is it really worth it...

Well guys I haven't bought nor have I rented NCAA 05'. As I scrolled thru
the tons of screen shots and clips It to me seems to be that of last years
version with a few adjustments. So for us O.S. members who haven't purchased it
yet what makes it worth a buy And how many of you guys will turn to ESPN's
version of NCAA football when it arrives Just a lil' food for thought

If you want to save money and have last year's game, I'd suggest sticking with it. There are some cool additions, but the regular gameplay doesn't seem as free as last year. That may be because the defense is a lot better, although it's harder to rush from the outside. The animations on the throwing and catching motions seem to be less detailed as last year.

It's just personal opinion. I suggest renting it and then decide whether or not to buy it.

The one thing that a lot of O.S. members are getting upset
about seems to be the passing game, low completion rates and dropped
balls. I guess the running games is ok I take it

i agree with CUin2004-rent it first and then decide for yourself. i personally am playing 04 and trading 05 in. thats my choice. dont let these posts decide for you. only you can decide on what game is for you. some like and some dont. good luck

Re: Is it really worth it...

Dude they are right, Im using Miami and I drop passes left and right. Im using All American and I still have to crank up the human A.I. so my guy’s will catch the ball.

Also Im am all about the detail Im a game (The way the player’s look and the way the move) and that’s the number 1 reason I haven’t bought Madden the last 2 years. Because it is just like playing with cartoon like players. That’s why It’s all about ESPN Football, The game look beautiful.

If ESPN would make a collage version I would bye it in a second.

The running game is nearly perfect - better than last year. BUT, the passing game is much, much worse than 2004 and hence you'll find yourself running on third-and-long, which is total BS.

If you have 2004, don't need Xbox Live, and money is tight, definitely pass on 2005, IMHO.
