Impressive streaks

Those of you that have gotten several years into dynasties, what impressive (or gut-wrenching) streaks have you seen CPU teams go through?

I'm in 2028 on my current dynasty and so far:

- Oklahoma has had a 57-game winning streak, but with only 2 BCS titles to show for it (outside of OU and UT, the Big 12 has been mostly terrible)

- Oregon State hasn't won a game in two years, and has just one win over the last 4 four years combined,

- Notre Dame has appeared in three straight BCS title games. And lost all of them.

- Georgia Tech at one point played in six straight ACC title games (winning 4), but never the NCG.

- In years 3-4 after Saban retired, Bama lost 13 straight games.

- Over a 4-year period, Ohio State played in the Big Ten title game every year, won 3, played in 2 NCG, lost both by a combined total of 9 points.

I find it amusing that the OS icon for NAU is 20 years (and three rebrands!) out of date.

Re: Impressive streaks

Im only midway through my fourth season on my current dynasty, but Ohio State has been to the NCG the previous three seasons. They've won all 3

Re: Impressive streaks

NCAA 08 on the ps3, Texas had an amazing run going undefeated 3 straight years and winning 3 straight championships. Their streak was 49 games I believe, and they had a home winning streak of like 79 or at least somewhere in the 70's.

Re: Impressive streaks

In all my years playing I've seen:
Washington state go 0-36 over a 3 year span

Idaho go 0-24 over 2 years

Nmsu go 1-11 for 4 years in a row, and a couple of those wins were vs FCS

BOISE STATE win 3 straight BCS National Championships!

That one made me lol. Interesting turn of events.

One noteworthy streak in my '14 dynasty is about my teams- I've lost plenty of games, but I've never been shut out. (50+ seasons running now). I always breath a little sigh of relief in a tough game where I'm getting beat, but then I get that FG or barely score otherwise.

The details make it more interesting.

Saban retired after a 7-6 year.
Yr 1 after: 10 wins
Yr 2 after: 11 wins
Yr 3 after: started 5-0, dropped 7 straight
Yr 4 after: started started 0-6, won next 4, lost last 2

Team was never rated below 94 overall and pulled in lower than a top 25 class.

Re: Impressive streaks

Not as big of a streak, but just a fun note. In my Sonoma State dynasty, I just joined the Big 12 (along with Boise State) for the 2019 season. Looking through the archive, I've noticed:

2017 BCS National Champion: Texas Longhorns
2018 BCS National Champion: Oklahoma Sooners

I just found it interesting, given the struggles Texas has had IRL the last few years, and how Stoops is always so close with Oklahoma, but never quite good enough.

Re: Impressive streaks

Back in NCAA 08 (Campus legend... so many memories) I remember going 12-0 in my three years at Michigan but I never played in the championship game somehow. I'll gladly take the Rose Bowls I won though.
