I have never played a created player mode and gave it a shot on 2K17. I like it so I wanted to try it out on NCAA. I went through and created a HB from my HS alma mater and all. Get into week 1 and go to start the game and it just sits there. I don't know if it has something to do with the fact that I'm playing the digital copy from the marketplace or what?

Anyone experience this and have a fix?

Has nothing to do with the digital copy.

I don't play RTG, but I'm pretty sure that I read this is a roster issue. Use a different roster (dunno if you have to use default or not).

I'm almost 100% sure you have to use the default rosters.

You need the default rosters, but you can edit things like names, ratings and appearance. You NEED to have all the players from the default file on the roster file and on the correct team. You can't add or delete players either.

I will add, minor roster alterations generally have no problem in RtG whereas extensive alterations have resulted in freezing and issues similar to yours, in my experience. However, the mode is undoubtedly sensitive to roster changes made via console and externally. I have never experienced the exact issue you reported with a game, only when entering practice (once in college).
