Does moving positions around like that impact awareness negatively?

Yes, some of them take a big hit on awareness, but I have not noticed that impacting the way they play. My main concern when moving guys around is trying to put them in a position early on in their careers that will boost their blocking ratings. All WRs come in with terrible blocking ratings, and a lot of the athletes do too. I put them at TE or FB early on and redshirt them, then move them to their real position later on. I am only two years into this dynasty and am not sure how it will work out, sort of a test run.

There was somebody that made a "Shootbone" playbook that I took and threw in a few tweaks. As the name indicates...it's as if the Run and Shoot had a baby with the Flexbone. A baby that can only be satisfied by a large amount of touchdowns.

Can you send me the plays and formations for this.

Just Google "Shootbone." I believe it is the first link.

Re: Unique Flexbone thread

I run a pretty watered down flexbone /pistol attack and what I like to do is basically nice players “up ”a position. For example I'll have my tight ends play wide receiver, I'll move my receivers to RB, and usually use my RB as a full back, while still keeping a traditional folk back. I also run it at a no huddle pace due to the simplicity of the scheme ( there's literally 7 formations, but I only use flexbone normal and pistol full house as my base formations), so I know what I'm going to call as soon as the defense lines up. Also I play on the OS playmaker sliders. Any questions?

Would love a list of your formations/plays. I'm intrigued by a shotgun/pistol/flexbone hybrid playbook.

Pistol

Full House
Flexbone Slot
Flexbone Trips

Flexbone

Normal
Close
Twins Over
Wing Trips

My base plays are midline iso, triple, inside zone/fb dive, triple option pass, and slants. Anything else I run in a given game is to setup one of these plays.
