Kick Catch Interference

Maybe I just don't know the rule like I think I do, but when the CPU signals a fair catch, and I actually make the catch to down the ball (say at the 2 yard line, 10 yards behind where the punt returner is standing and signaled a fair catch), is that a penalty? Because it is on the game. It happened last year, and now noticed it for the first time this year. It kills me because I go from having a ball downed inside the 5 to having it spotted at nearly the 20. Anyone else have this problem.

No thats not a rule its just something that EA messed up in the game(not ranting love the game)

Haha, PhillyBalla is on top of things today. I actually knew that wasn't the way the rule worked, I was just expecting the bug to be fixed this year and am surprised it was not.

Im just mad because theirs no way to down the ball in the 20 unless you coffin corner it

I was under the impression you could knock it down (using the L-trigger on xbox) without a penalty, just not catch it. That sure makes it more difficult, but I'm fairly certain that's the case.

I have'nt tried that yet but ill definetly give that a try

Otherwise just stand right in front of where the ball is gonna land and it will bounce off of ya and then you can down it.
