I played my first game on XBL today. Can't say that it was worth writing home about. Take the standard slowdown on the Xbox version and multiply by about 50. Extremely frustrating. Any tips on being able to play at a smoother pace? I have Comcast DSL. Is there a way to select what type of connection my opponent needs to have? Total newbie so any advice is welcomed.

Lost the game 27-14. I was LSU...other dude was Tennessee. I'll chalk it up to have played 90% of the time on the PS2 and too much ESPN 2005.

sup bro? yeah, i finally went back to NCAA 05 to play some online games after i DL'ed the rosters. My tag is JTatUSC007.

Nope, that pretty much sums up my experience with NCAA 2005 on XBL. That's why I don't play it anymore. I just can't take the slowdown.

They should just make it for the PC

Try switching the camera to classic. I've found that it helps a lot. Also, try to play in stadiums with artificial turf, as much of the slowdown comes from the grass stain animations.

This game is terrible on XBL.. a huge disappointment

The game is a laggy experience reduced to who can throw and complete the most hail mary passes (which too many are completed as well, the DBs don't seem to play the same online as they do offline to me.)
