I turned off camera shake within the first hour of me having the game...this might explain why I love it and havent seen many of the problems that others have...

I got the game when it first came out and the first thing to go was HFA before any slider tweaks. The crap is terrible in the way it works. I applaude ea for trying to make the game better but Hfa should be in games like Marchmadness and NBA live not football.

I agree and disagree with you at the same time. They could have implemented the composure better(first year for it I cut them some slack) but HFA is prevalent in college football just as much as it is in college basketball. Players get overhyped, scared, etc when going to tough places. You might have been an exception but MD only really travels to 1 tough stadium every 2 years. Also, you dont have to turn it off, just remove camera shake to enjoy it. Of course I was not really having huge drops problems to begin with.

Again, I love the HFA for the simple fact that if I come out and lay eggs on the first couple drives against teams we should beat, we have a very good chance of losing the game. Adds more meaning to scheduling and playing against cupcakes.

Actually there are two things that are new this year .

1. HFA
2. Composure ratings

so if you turn off the hfa you still have the composure ratings which increase and decrease throughout the game.

And I don't know what stadiums you may be thinking about but besides Florida st, clemson (death valley) is a very tough place not to mention West Virginia or even NC state.

What I should have said is that Hfa should not effect drop passes, awerness, acc etc. If anything it should have only have an effect on offsides, false starts, delay of games.

True some stadiums may be intimadating but that is not going to stop you from going out there and performing. I like what ea tried to do but the way they have it work is all wrong. There is no reason that after a 40yd fg my second and third string kickers get a boost in acc the same as my starter.

The composure ratings are great and work very well with HFA off, but HFA needs to be looked at a little more before NCAA 2006 comes out.

I didn't have a problem with catching the ball either the reason why I turned it off was because in my opinion the crowd is not that much of a factor because in the game of football it is talent vs talent. You know what I'm saying ? There is no 12th man in football but if there was he would be the coach.
