Stopping the WR direct glitch - you can

This glitch is becoming more prominant out there.

I have learned how to do it. (not saying - fwiw you can't do it in practice mode)

I'm not going to talk about that. Instead, I will say how to stop it.

(if you don't already know)

To stop:

Call punt return, safe return with the two safeties.

The glitcher will try to audible, but it won't work as intended and will end up in the audibled play. (a RB direct...)

JUST after he starts barking the audible out - after he shifts that WR across screen - you can audible your defense to anything and you'll be OK.

If you audible too soon, he'll be able to get the play off and it will work, however. Timing is key. This glitch seems to work against everything but this safe return defense.

As it is, safe return is like a cover two man defense, it works well...

All this crap is the exact reason I only play people I know. Too many jerkoffs out there who would rather play glitch-fest 2k4, rather than football.

What is this play? I've never seen it used before.

It snaps the ball directly to your WR and it's an easy gain because the defenders don't notice it.

I took my DE (I had a play in dime called), brought him all the over to the right side, and stopped the WR after a one-yard gain. It only took me one time to stop it, and I've only had one person try it on me.
