One factor you might consider, something that matters quite a bit in real life, is what do the other QB's that are coming out look like? If there are several awesome QB's he'd probably stay, if not, in the words of Dan Patrick, "Gone".

I decided not to vote since I didn't know the answer to this.

Re: Should this guy go pro?

On offense he’s losing the #1 receiver but that’s it. I don’t export the draft classes so I hadn’t even thought of looking at the other quarterbacks coming out, that’s a good idea

Re: Should this guy go pro?

I do it based on their size and skillset. If he's a 6' 180lb scrambler, without a big arm, he would probably return. If he's 6'5" 230lb, with high throw power, he would probably declare. Just depends on what kind of specimen and NFL prospect he is.

I had a guy that was a decorated 3 year starter as a true junior, 6'4" with 99 throw power, 99 overall, and came in as a 5 star recruit. That guy would never return for his senior year, because he's probably the favorite to go number 1 overall in the draft. I could never get him to declare though, for some reason, so I just ended up having to cut him.

What are your 86 overalls measurables and throwing attributes?

Re: Should this guy go pro?

He's 6'1" 210lbs
86 THP
85 THA
99 AWR

The top senior QB's in this draft are rated
99
96
96
95
90
90
But only 2 of those guys threw for my yards than my quarterback, and only the 95 overall guy threw more touchdowns this season than my quarterback (48 to 43)

I would let him come back, just because of his size and arm. He could declare, but a guy that size, with that arm is a late round prospect, regardless of the accolades. If he decides to declare on his own (which for some reason seems to happen with high 80's-low 90's more than it does high 90's), then let him go, but I wouldn't worry about forcing someone like that out. Let him come back and solidify himself as a college legend.

Re: Should this guy go pro?

Oregon State’s National Championship winning quarterback Anibal Quinones has decided to return to school for his redshirt Junior season. Thank you all for your input and opinions

Re: Should this guy go pro?

He's a tad on the short side and there's a strong QB class. Given his 15 picks, I like that you are having him stay.

Something to consider is the type of offense you run. If its an air raid, spread...or almost anything that isn't pro-style, that has a big impact. NFL scouts like to see guys in their kind of systems. Thats part of why USC QB's are always drooled over, even if they suck.

What kind of offense are you running? If its pro-style, then i think he'd go pro. If its a spread/air raid system, most NFL teams wouldn't take a chance on him IMO
