QB Slide

Hi all,

I dusted off the old XBox 360 just started playing this game again. Quick question, when I scramble with the QB and run, how do i get him to slide? Often if I dive and he gets hit, I fumble. I didn't see anywhere in the menu for QB slide.

Thanks.

Let go of the button used for turbo/sprinting (RT) and tap X instead of holding it down. I see you've already learned, but the dive is virtually useless in '14. It causes fumbles at a ridiculous rate, not just with QBs. Instead, I hurdle in place of the dive, which will give you the "over the pile" look at the goal line. It looks better visually, and the ball carrier can still fumble, but at a much more realistic rate.

Thanks! This is helpful.

I forgot how great this game is. Gameplay and presentation are so well done. Really feels like Saturday afternoon.

Yep. Also, using the same method, WRs will do the little "fall down slide" thing to avoid getting hit.
