If you're moving high-star recruits away from the service academies and toward their second or third choice, couldn't you re-assign recruits to take their place? If a two- or one-star recruit signed with a different school, but had a service academy finish second in the recruiting process, you could move those recruits to the service academies. It might limit the amount of transfers you see coming into the programs.


You might even be able to assign unsigned recruits to the service academies.


I haven't tried it, but it might be worth a shot.

I nerfed their recruiting attributes and changed their playbooks to the FCS ones. Its been great.

I never thought to try that before. My original theory was that the service academies would fill their empty roster spots with walk on players, since they are typically worse than even a 1* player. It does seem to happen, but maybe not enough to fill the holes on their roster.



I will definitely try this as it might stop or limit the transfers and the occasional wtf 4 or 5* getting signed because their roster needs are met.

Trying out a new idea to completely nerf these teams.. I turned every player on their rosters into seniors. Hoping it will fill out with walk ons and the few recruits they're able to get.

Thought I'd share. Sick of these teams being a power house after a few years.

If your goal is realism, reassigning their commitments and recruiting stats to give them worse classes is your best bet.

You can change their playbooks. They’ll be good sometimes but they won’t be overpowered due to the option offense.

You can manually edit their players and make them worse. Specifically their quarterbacks and receivers. Take their awareness and accuracy down 20 points.
