Is this rumor true about TB?

I read in another forum that the game will come with a code that allows access to TB. Therefore, if you buy the game used/rent it, you will not get a code and not be able to use TB. Is it true? Anyone around OS know?

Yep. That's true. They said that with the original announcement of TB I believe. Well, they said you'd get a code and if you pre-order at GS you'd get 13 more teams.

That sucks....I'm sure there are people out there that buy only used games (or rent) and to not give them access to a feature that is marketed so heavily is not good.

You still get access to teambuilder. You just get 12 teams instead of 25 teams.

Not true. They have to buy the game to get the code.

I've just read on Pasta, I believe, that you'll be able to purchase a new code if bought used or I guess rented. I think that's fair enough.

I think initially they announced that you would have 12 slots, and 13 additional to pre-orders through gamestop. But then later changed it to the first 12 being codes in new games.

I could be wrong. But it kinda sucks. I plan on gameflying NCAA and I guess I sorta wasted my time on my created teams. Oh well?

The thing is they don't mention that anywhere....the fact that one has to read Pasta's site is proof of that. How many will rent/buy used it thinking they can access TB w/o a fee? Also they give you no choice...if you want to create a team, you have to pay for it now. It is essentially taking a free freature Create a Team and changing the name......no option for the consumer. They could have CAS for free, which you can't share with the online community and TB for those who are willing to pay for an online service. IMO this is as bad as charging for uniforms.
