Man, that is really strange. But I'm glad you called attention to this. It sounds like a glitch or bug to me.

This whole authorization thing is just a big mess. With things like this happening, you can't count on any team being safe.

but i didnt create any teams.

i downloaded that 1988 irish team from the teambuilder search.

just search for Notre Dame..

you will then see the 1988 team with like 75 and up downloads.

There's not a 1988 with 75+. I'm looking online and I see 2 1988 Fighting Irish - one with 23 downloads and the other with 6. Do you know which it is?
