Can you make edits to an already existing team builder created team??
I have found a number of people have already created my high school team including importation of the logo and everything, however I would like to make a few changes upon what they have already done. Does anyone know if there is any way that I can do this. Or do I have to totally create the team on my own (which would be a waste of time)...anyway, any input would be appreciated.Tags: None -

ok, well then is there a way that you can copy and paste the logo that they have uploaded for use on the team that you create?Comment

We are working on a way that will let you copy someone else's school and edit it on the web app, though it will be forced to be private. This is in development, early on, so I can't promise it will ever go live.I have found a number of people have already created my high school team including importation of the logo and everything, however I would like to make a few changes upon what they have already done. Yes you can...I found out how to do it...by accident actulaly.
I don't know if anyone has found a way yet, but if not I know how and I can post it here if anyone needs to know. It was surprising actually. I was trying to edit some high school teams in our district here and I found one that had a great accurate roster but the ratings were way to high so I was going to lower them to make them compare to the other teams in the district...and the uniforms were a bit off also...long story short I figured out how to edit them and when I saved it it saved it as my school so now I can download it on XBL and use it. If anyone wants to know how let me know on here.Comment

i don't think you'd be breaking any rules and don't understand why this couldn't be shared...but you might find yourself in high company of the likes of thomas edison and albert einstein.

Re: Can you make edits to an already existing team builder created team??
Well here goes. The only reason I would be worried is that it's basically could be "stealing" other people's work...I guess.
Ok here's how I did it...I searched for the school that had the great rosters...just with messed up ratings and uniform stuff etc...
When I found that school I clicked on it and it took me to the overview/roster screen. I clicked "Roster" (Not sure if this actually affected me being able to edit it or not but it seemed good lol)...
Ok, now here's the important part...
First make sure you are logged in or it won't work.
And while you are on the overview/Roster screen and it shows the teams uniform and all that and you hit roster...
look up at the top in the URL address and it will say http://www.easportsworld.com/en_US/n...4466:125415168 for example...with those long numbers at the end being the school ID number I guess...(That link it just a random ID used for instruction purposes)
All you do is where it says
is replace that long string with this exact address:
http://www.easportsworld.com/en_US/n...school#/roster
AND BOOM you should be editing that teams roster now, and can change anything and everything like you began editing it from scratch or something.
Let me know if this works for you guys...it's worked fine for me, and I'm about to go in the game and see if my teams are uploadedComment

That was just an example link...you have to find the school you want to edit yourself, and then when you click on it and it shows the uniform/rosters screen replace the URL with the one i put in there that is:
and then it should work just fine...just right click on that link and copy shortcut and paste it in your browser once you are on the uniform/rosters screen of the school you want to editComment

Dude this seems bogus or either your not clearly explaining how to do it. I tried your steps and kept getting directed to EASW "Page Not Found".That was just an example link...you have to find the school you want to edit yourself, and then when you click on it and it shows the uniform/rosters screen replace the URL with the one i put in there that is:
and then it should work just fine...just right click on that link and copy shortcut and paste it in your browser once you are on the uniform/rosters screen of the school you want to editTeambuilder Name: Mrlux

Re: Can you make edits to an already existing team builder created team??
Ugh...I'll try to explain it in an easier to understand way.
Ok, go to the EA Teambuilder site which is http://www.easportsworld.com/en_US/n...a_school#/home
Make sure you are logged in up at the top. If not, do so now (I am using a web persona so not sure if that has any effect on it. Now for example, say I want to edit the "Under Armour All American team" which should be on the bottom where it says most popular or whatever.
I just click on that link, and it takes me to the overview/Roster screen. Ok, you should see there uniform here if you done that much right (should already know how to do that just a simple step).
Anyway...like I said at the top in your address box it will have the URL address of the team you want to edit. (I hope you understand what I'm saying here.)
Ok, it doesn't matter what the URL address is at the top for the team, because they are all different. And no matter what the address is, you still put this address in place of it once you are on the team you want to edits overview/roster screen: http://www.easportsworld.com/en_US/n...school#/roster
**Once again make sure you are logged in before you do all this**
Once you copy and paste that link hit enter and then it should take you to the screen to start editing the rosters, and anything else you want and then you will be able to save it as your own.
Now you may be skeptical, but I don't see any reason why it won't work if it worked for me. Just follow step by step. If it's still too hard to understand I can try to help you further if you let me know where you get stuck. To prove that it works I will post a couple screenshots of the Under Armour All American team and me editing them.
Sure...I could have just made new ones with the same jerseys and all that, but I didn't, and I for **** sure wouldn't spend probably the hours it took to make all those names/heights/weights/ratings accurate.
Hope this helps and let me know.Comment
